"Plaster Networks is a natural choice for anyone in the integration business because it offers professionals diagnostic performance measurements for performance confirmation, and they offer continued post installation support with automatic firmware updates. Our customers’ satisfaction and 'uptime' is what it is all about and we rely on manufacturer partners who understand and add value to our business. Plaster Networks filled an empty void otherwise populated with unreliable off-the-shelf retail products or inconsistent wireless technology."

"The Plaster Networks adapters came to the rescue when I discovered my Cat5 cable that runs outside the house from the study to the living room had been cut by accident. Of course you only find these things out when you actually need to use them - such as streaming video from a desktop in the study to the TV in the living room. But Plaster Networks came to the rescue! I just plugged in the PLN3 adapters, and hey presto I was watching streaming video on my TV. The connection is very stable, so much so that I haven't bothered to fix the Cat5 cable yet."

"Having used similar devices made by another company I was skeptical. Talk about easy set up!! My grandmother could do it. Literally within seconds I was communicating between my computer and the Media Server located in another part of the house at speeds in excess of 4 to 5MB. In the past 1MB was best I could hope for. I have transferred files and watched movies at the same time without any lag or stutter. I have received excellent support for any question no matter how simple."

"I recently installed the Plaster Networks powerline adapters and the results were amazing! The PLN3 adapters enabled me to immediately stream instant movies without delays on two Blu-ray DVD players located on the first and third floors in my home. The PLN3 adapters were super easy to install. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to save lots of money and time on installation."

Wow! I Can't Believe It!

"In the living room I have a Popcorn Hour A-110 and I stream HD content to it from my computer. When I bought it a couple of years ago, there really wasn't any solution to connecting the PC to the PCH other than CAT5 cable. The reviews on the various wireless dongles had been miserable and most said streaming HD content wasn't possible wirelessly.

Recently I decided to revisit the powerline issue to see if anything had changed. That's when I found Plaster Networks! Not only do the PLN3 adapters work, but everything is exactly the same quality as when I had the wire connected. It took maybe 5 minutes to hook things up and get it running. Absolute "plug and play".

Bottom line is these work like a charm. Not "work sorta" or "work most of the time"— they work all the time! A fabulous product!"

"The devices have been working beautifully. The best thing I can say about them is that I haven't had to think about them—they just work, delivering the speed and consistent signal I was lacking via wireless. That's about the biggest compliment I can think of for such a device."

"I'm very pleased with the performance and simple set-up of our PLN adapters— literally "plug-n-play."

In contrast, our wireless router had screenfuls of web-based setup, and it barely works through one wall! Although I like to move about the house with my laptop, I prefer to run off of AC rather than risk a "low-battery" interruption. With the PLN technology, a fast and reliable internet connection is everywhere I want to be."

"Plaster Networks provided a quick and easy way to set up a temporary Internet connection in the garage for our kids' Lego Robotics Team.

When we offered to host our kids' Lego club in our garage, we forgot that we needed to provide them with an Internet connection. We needed a quick and easy way to provide the kids with access to the web to access online instructions and to download robot commands.

Needless to say, we hadn't thought to install an Ethernet port in the garage when we wired our house for Cat5 the previous year. And wireless wasn't providing a reliable connection. So we installed a couple of PLN3 adapters (one next to the router and the other in the garage), and we were ready for action! The kids just plug in their PCs and log directly onto the Lego site."

"I decided to try out the Plaster Networks adapters because I could not get adequate WiFi reception throughout my house - nearly 90 feet from one end to the other.

The PLN3 adapters worked great, and now I have a broadband connection from every room in the house! After using the adapters for a while, I took advantage of Plaster Networks Service to help locate powerline isolators that boost my network performance even more."

"With Plaster Networks, we were able to improve the throughput performance of our wireless connections by up to five or six times!

Originally, we had set up an extended wireless network using two Apple Airport Express wireless hubs. One hub connected directly to the Internet through our modem/router, and we configured the second hub to extend the first network (in essence acting as a wireless relay).

Using the Plaster Networks PLN3 adapters, we were able to reconfigure our wireless network and connect the second Airport Express unit directly to the router (across the powerline network). We then turned off the Airport extended mode.

After installing the PLN3 units, we saw significant performance improvements in our network, and we didn't have to run any extra cables in the house! All in all, it took about ten minutes to get everything running - not too bad for a 5X performance improvement!

And the best thing is I haven't had to touch them since. They just work."

"The Plaster Networks adapters have been great. We've been streaming movies and TV off and on with no problems at all. With the Netflix streaming it even looks like we're getting pretty close to the max 720p resolution that they support."

"Using the Plaster Networks powerline adapters, we were able to install a second wireless base station at the other end of our apartment so that we have complete coverage across all of the rooms in our unit.

We recently moved into an old building in San Francisco with only one phone jack in our apartment (located in a far corner of the unit). We first set up our wireless access point right next to the phone jack, and we found that the network didn't extend to all of the rooms in the apartment. We're not sure, but part of the problem may be that the wireless signal doesn't travel well through the old plaster walls. Also, the apartment is fairly long from one end to the other.

We used the Plaster Networks PLN3 adapters to locate a second wireless receiver at the other end of the apartment, and now we have full coverage. The building dates back to the 1920s, and the wiring is fairly old. So we weren't sure whether the powerline adapters would work or not. As it turns out, they performed amazingly well. Setting up the powerline network took less than five minutes. We plugged in one adapter next to our router, and then a second adapter in the room where we located the second wireless base station. Our apartment is now "fully connected."

"Plaster Networks helped get our "in-law" unit "online." Now, everyone at home has Internet access, and I don't get nearly as many IT helpdesk calls from the household. What a relief!

We have a separate guest house on our property that needed Internet access. We tried installing a wireless router, but the signal was not strong enough to reach outside our home. So we decided to take a look at powerline networking.

We installed a Plaster Networks PLN3 adapter near our router (in the home) and a second adapter in the guest house providing a broadband connection to our Internet service! The adapters worked out-of-the-box, with no configuration required. I sure wish that our wireless router worked the same."
